Terms of Use
These Terms govern On the Dot ("the app"), a timing game made by Phil Starkovich and published on Google Play by Claim 727, LLC ("we", "us"). By using the app you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Mandatory consumer rights where you live always apply.
1. Your license
We give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive license to use the app on devices you own or control. For copies from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. For copies from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement governs the license. These Terms add to those agreements and don't override them.
Please don't redistribute the app or its artwork, music or code, bypass purchase verification, interfere with the app's services, or use it unlawfully. The app, its name and its assets belong to us or our licensors.
2. Free play, ads and Full Access
The app is free to download and shows ads from Google AdMob. Watching an optional video gives 25 attempts on one locked level. Full Access is a one-time in-app purchase, not a subscription, that removes ads and unlocks every level in every mode.
Google Play or the App Store shows the price and any taxes before you pay and processes the payment under its own terms. A purchase belongs to the Google or Apple account used to buy it; use Restore Purchases in Settings with that account to restore it on a new device. Refunds are handled by Google Play or Apple under their policies and applicable law. We never see your payment details.
3. Leaderboards and achievements
Scores and achievements are posted to Google Play Games on Android and Game Center on iPhone and iPad when you're signed in. Your profile name and scores may be visible to other players. Android and iPhone players are on separate leaderboards. We may remove scores that come from cheating or modified software.
4. No warranties
To the extent the law allows, the app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. Timing depends on your device, so results can vary slightly between devices. Where mandatory warranties or consumer guarantees apply, they stay in full effect.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from the app. Where liability can be limited but not excluded, our total liability is limited to the greater of what you paid for the app and US $100. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.
6. Third-party services
Google (Google Play, Play Games and AdMob), Apple (App Store and Game Center) and RevenueCat provide services the app relies on, under their own terms. Google and Apple are not parties to these Terms and aren't responsible for supporting the app.
7. Changes and contact
We may update the app and these Terms. When the Terms change, we'll update this page and the date above; changes don't take away rights you already have. These Terms don't require arbitration or waive your right to go to court. If any part is unenforceable, the rest still applies.
